Tomorrow we go to Isaiah 40 and ask the obvious follow-up: if God feeds tired men, where does the strength actually come from? The answer is stranger than “try harder” and better than “rest more.” Bring your Bible and a cup of coffee.

  1. Read Isaiah 40:28–31 slowly, twice, before Wednesday morning.
  2. Notice who faints in verse 30 — it may not be who you'd expect. Ask why Isaiah picked that group.
  3. Come with one honest answer to: where in my life am I forcing something in my own strength right now?
